The St. Augustine’s Education Society successfully runs two co-ed schools for nearly 50 years. We felt the need to extend the horizon of education by launching a third school, but this time only for girls. This is to have a woman centric focus. We are proud to be the only Girls’ School in this region. This endeavor is in the footsteps of some of the leading schools in the city. In 2019, one third of the batch of both ICSE and ISC has scored over 90% aggregate marks, with our ICSE topper ranking 3rd All India. However, our pride is the fact that nearly all of our students scored above 70% in board results.

The schools in Barrackpore and Shyamnagar have proudly graduated 25-30 batches each, all of whom are now well-established professionals in their fields. Currently with over 6000 students the school’s commitment is to provide “Success for every child”. With a proven track record of excellent academics, where over 90% of graduating batch score above 70% aggregate marks and 1/3 of them hit the 90% mark and beyond, the school had recently been hailed as “Best in Academics” by the Times of India. All round development firmly planted in their vision the school also excels in co-curricular and have received multiple accolades for CCA at the Telegraph Awards. Community service & environment consciousness are other hallmarks of the schools earning them the accolades from The Telegraph and IESA EARTH DAY HERO AWARD TROPHY AND CERTIFICATE OF EXCELLENCE from IESA Industry Excellence Awards.

With these laurels we embark on a new journey to empower the Girls, following the CBSE curriculum and a host of co-curricular activities, which will be taught and evaluated as per the National Education Policy. I bring to this outstanding legacy my own personal experience of nearly 40 years with the most prestigious Loreto schools (175+ years in India) in various senior capacities. Having led and administered directly or indirectly all the 19 schools in the country, I feel humbled and honored to build another girls’ school from its inception. My passion to train and develop teachers as well as my qualification in counselling will be an added advantage to give your daughter an education at par with global standards.
