CO-CURRICULAR

As we focus on “Success for every child” we provide opportunities in fields other than academics for students to excel in. Our society creates icons of sportspersons, follows their careers and applauds their achievements. Bengal has contributed a large number sports stars and so we at St. Augustine’s provide every child the platform to test and hone their athletic ability supporting the talented ones till the National levels as well. We have a dedicated Physical Education teacher who prepares students for the ICSE and ISC board exams in the subject and also supervises weekly PE classes for all children to develop love for sports and activities.
37 students scored over 90% marks in the board exams in Physical Education in ISC 2020. We also have dedicated instructors in Yoga and Karate who not only conduct weekly classes at the school level but also train students to participate in external competitions. Our school students have won competitions at the District, State, National and Asian levels.

SCOUT AND GUIDES

The Scouts and Guides mission is to contribute to the kids’ education, through a value system. It helps the students to unplug from technology and develop life-long skills. Scouts and Guides is taken very seriously at St. Augustine’s with students trained under a qualified teacher, enabling them to participate in activities at the National level.

SCHOOL TEAM – 5 of our students won 4 Gold and 12 Silver medals CISCE Regional Swimming Competition at State Level 2019.
NATIONAL
SGFI 2019-Tanusmita Das got third prize (bronze medal) in Swimming.
She also participated in Khelo India held in December 2019 and bagged the third prize in Swimming.
Tanusmita Das, Juhi Das and Subhronil Das qualified for the National Level Competition 2019 and won Gold, Silver and Bronze medals in different events.
