The school received the award for ‘Big Impact Creator in the Category of Education’ in an award function organised today by 92.7 Big FM.

Class XI students visited the CENTRAL INLAND FISHERIES INSTITUTE on its 77th Foundation Day. It helped them gather knowledge regarding fishing science not only as a subject but also as a career option.

Our school was invested with award for ‘THE BEST PRODUCTION ON HUMANITY’ and two of our students were awarded the BEST ACTOR AWARD — Samraggi Chakraborty(Class IV) for the character “Amol” and Abhinanda Chatterjee (Class V) for the character ” Pishi”.

Master Trishan Dasgupta and Master Kritanhik Dalal from UKG for receiving topper medals in English, Maths and Science in National Olympiads conducted by National Olympiad Foundation (Junior category).

We congratulate Ms Mitali Sinha and Ms Mou Banerjee for being honoured with Certificate of Teaching Excellence, Awards 2023, by Adamas University on 19th February 2023.

Times Best Institutes for Studies, West Bengal 2022-23 Our school is declared the Best School in North 24 Parganas (CISCE Board) Article in The Times of India dated 18th February 2023

Atrij Biswas of Class XI won a 50% scholarship for attending ‘Summer School’ at Cambridge/Oxford/London/Sydney University, for the subject Chemistry. He had participated in the Annual International Essay Writing Competition 2023 organized by Immerse Education. There were more than 10,000 entries from around the world. Results were declared on 1st February 2023.

Our school team was awarded with the 2nd Runners Up Trophy for securing the Third position in ‘Rotary Saevus Eco Achievers Quiz’ (Kolkata) National Edition 22-23, conducted at MCKV, Liluah today. It was one of the top six qualifying teams amongst 25 city schools.

15 of our students participated in 24th Bongo Bhumi Cup, the International Karate Championship held at NKDA Community Hall, near Biswa Bangla on 15th January 2023. They recieved One Gold, Six Silver and Twelve Bronze Medals competing against participants from Greece, Sri Lanka, Uzbekistan and Bangladesh.

BIRAJ DUTTA of Class VII, receives appreciation certificate for being one of the TOP 50 finalists for EDUGRAPH 18 UNDER 18 AWARDS. Amongst hundreds of students nominated from different schools all over the city and neighbouring states, Biraj was shortlisted for his achievements in Swimming.

Our student toppers of classes V to X were felicitated with the ‘Hirer Tukro’ award in a program organised by Barrackpore Journalist Welfare Association at Sukanta Sadan. The proud mothers were bestowed with ‘Ratnagarva’ award in the same ceremony.  

Times Group awards our school for being the No 1 School in Barrackpore. Award received by Principal Ma’am, Ms J Biswas, from Mr. Yemi Odanye, Deputy Head of Mission Organisation, British Deputy High Commissioner.

Phase one of ‘Aloha’ was a grand success where Nursery toddlers for the next session (2023-2024) were welcomed to school for the first time.They spent a fun filled day with music, dance and games.

Students of Class XII visited the Cheshire Home, Srerampore and St Vincent’s Health Centre, Barasat on 13th December and the Bholagiri Ashram & Old Age Home in Barrackpore on 14th December 2022 as a part of their social service project. They presented the inmates with a humble donation of food items and other necessities.

A humble effort to raise funds for the inmates of Cheshire Home, who put up beautiful stalls of handmade articles for sale in the school premises.

On behalf of the school, Principal Ms J Biswas received the award in the felicitation ceremony held in Kolkata. The school is Ranked No 1 in North 24 Parganas in the Times School Survey 2022.

Sarbatha Debnath of Class VIII received a Gold medal in U 17 Boys Chess Nationals Tournament 2022 held from 28th to 30th October. The U 17 Boys team bagged the first prize!

Debarchan Saha of Class VI bagged the Bronze Medal in Under 14 Boys, National Artistic Gymnastics Competition, in the event Table Vault, in CISCE National Games and Sports held in October 2022.

Biraj Dutta of Class VII secured 3 gold medals in 50 mtr Butterfly, 50 mtr. Free Style, and 100×4 Free Style Relay. He also bagged two silver medals in 100 mtr. Butterfly and 100×4 Medley Relay. He also won the Individual Champion’s Trophy and was declared the BEST Swimmer in U 14 Boys event.

The Annual District Camp at Sillery Gaon from 17th August 2022 to 22nd August 2022 was full of adventure activities and learning experiences for Middle School and Senior School students with hiking, trekking and camp activities.

Adrita Banerjee of Class VIII secured Gold Medal in Under 17 (44 to 48 kg weight) category and qualified for the Nationals for CISCE West Bengal and North East Regional Karate Championship 2022.

The Art Club of the school organised an Art Competition for students of classes XI & XII in the Seminar Hall. Principal, Vice Principal, Headmistress and Coordinators inaugurated the event and wished the participants for giving their best.

We congratulate all our students for 100% results in ISC 2022. We are proud of our toppers for their outstanding achievements!!

ICSE School Toppers- Anamika Bhattacharyya (99.2%) & Ahana Chakraborty (99.2%)- All India Rank 4th and State Rank 3rd. We had 100% results where 46.84% of students scored 90% and above. Congratulations to the achievers!

Students of pre-primary & primary sections celebrate the humble paper bag, to spread awareness about plastic pollution and encourage the use of environment-friendly alternatives. Little kids and teachers made paper bags from waste newspapers, and colourful papers, decorated the bags with short slogans and awareness messages and distributed them amongst the members of the school. …
