Rev. Rodney Borneo is a Priest of the Archdiocese of Calcutta. He completed his BA from the University of Calcutta and later completed MSc in Psychology- First class with Gold Medal from Assam Don Bosco University. He holds a degree in Theology from the Urbania University in Rome and a Diploma in Applied Spirituality from Teresianum University also in Rome. He has worked tirelessly to further the cause of education among the Santhal tribe of West Midnapore district of Bengal. His efforts in education have taken him to Central Australia to work with the Aborigines at Alice Springs. For his various other contributions to the society he was awarded the Dr. M.A. Wajid Miah Gold Medal by Bangladesh. This gold Medal is instituted in memory of the late husband of the Prime Minister of Bangladesh. He is presently the principal of Loyola High School, an English Medium school for boys in Kolkata. He regularly conducts orientations and seminars for adolescents and school teachers all across the country. He had the singular honour of leading the Kolkata delegation for the Canonization of St. Teresa of Calcutta at the Vatican. He has been awarded the degree Doctor of Letters by the International Economics University for SAARC Countries. He is also the President of Heads of Anglo Indian schools in West Bengal
