Evaluation Process

Evaluation is done on the whole years performance and not merely on the basis of the Final Assessment only for promotion. Classes L.K.G. to III no formal Assessments are conducted. Continual class assessments are carried out in oral, written and behavior etc. Progress Report Cards are issued twice in an Academic year i.e., Half Yearly and Annual Assessment. Only grades are awarded. During the year, merit cards are issued as an incentive to children who do good work.

CLASSES IV TO VIII:


Students are assessed through Internal Assessment, Half Yearly Assessment and Final Assessment. Evaluation of a student is based on the Annual Assessment which is calculated by taking the following criteria for promotion.

(i) 40% of the Half Yearly Assessment.
(ii) 60% of the Final Assessment.

Pass mark for all subjects is 40%.

CLASSES IX TO XII


(1) Promotion of a student is based on the Annual Assessment which is calculated by taking 40% of the Half Yearly or Pre Selection Assessments.
(2) 60% of the Final or Selection Assessments.
(3) Pass Mark for Cl-IX & X - 35% and XI & XII - 40%

Assessments : There is regular continuous assessment in the form of Class work, Project and Oral. Apart from these there are two terminal assessments. Results are given after the terminal assessments to the parents to assess their wards' ability in school.
